A 17-year-old Somerset County girl is being charged, after she admitted to hitting another girl in the face with a metal baseball bat during a fight over a boy. The incident took place on December 30th at the Coal Miner’s Café in Jennerstown, with police finding the victim with injuries to her face and head, along with a broken nose and finger. The suspect, another 17-year-old girl, admitted hitting the victim, as well as kicking and punching her several times. The suspect is being charged with aggravated assault, endangering the welfare of another person and simple assault.
