CLERGY ABUSE REPORT CASE GETS NEW JUDGE

A new judge is set to preside over a case involving the release of a report into the clergy sex abuse scandal in the Archdiocese of Baltimore. Circuit Court Judge Robert Taylor will preside over the proceedings related to the release of a report detailing the alleged sexual abuse of nearly 600 children by priests in the Archdiocese. According to the Banner, some survivors of clergy sex abuse raised concerns over the previous judge in the case since he was a parishioner of a parish in south Baltimore.
