NEW DHHR TEAM READY TO MAKE CHANGES

West Virginia Governor Jim Justice and the new leadership team at the Department of Health and Human Resources say they are ready to make some improvements.  One change is the hiring freeze will be lifted, which should result in more child protective services positions to be filled, primarily in the Eastern Panhandle.  Following the retirement of DHHR Secretary Bill Crouch earlier this week, Dr. Jeff Coben will be the new acting secretary of the agency.  The governor is also adding West Virginia’s retired adjutant general James Hoyer to the leadership team, along with Dr. Clay Marsh.
