WEST VIRGINIA INCUMBENTS WIN RE-ELECTION TO CONGRESS

Incumbent Republicans Alex Mooney and Carol Miller were re-elected to Congress in yesterday’s General Election. With nearly all precincts reported, Representative Miller was ahead with 67 percent of the vote; Mooney was ahead with 65 per cent of the vote. Before serving in Congress, Mooney served in the Maryland State Senate from 1999 to 2010, and had also been chair of the Maryland Republican Party from 2010 through 2013.
