MAN CHARGED WITH ROBBERY, ASSAULT, INTOXICATED ENDANGERMENT

Seventy-six-year-old Oldtown resident Johnny Lee Schriner was charged with robbery, second-degree assault, and intoxicated endangerment following an incident at a Baltimore Street business on Monday. An employee told police that Schriner demanded money he believed was stolen from him. He walked behind the counter and assaulted the employee. Schriner was arrested, taken to Central Booking and later received a District Court hearing. He was taken to the Allegany County Detention Center and held on a temporary commitment.
