PA. SENATE OKs MEASURE CLARIFYING STATE’S ‘HANDS OFF” STANCE ON ABORTION

A proposal to add language to the Pennsylvania Constitution making it clear the document conveys no rights related to abortion or public funding of abortion is headed for the State House.  State senators reportedly approved the measure yesterday.  Should state house members sign off on it, as well, the proposal reportedly will be held for potential consideration during the next legislative session.  If it clears that hurdle, the measure will go to voters.
