MAN CHARGED WITH ASSAULT, DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Cumberland resident Jasson Dillon Roager was charged with second-degree assault, disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace and other counts, following an altercation in the 200-block of Decatur Street Saturday. As police arrived, Roager began screaming racial epithets and threats of violence toward the officer and the other person involved. He attempted to charge past officers and attack the other individual for a second time. He received an initial appearance in District Court, and was taken to the Allegany County Detention Center, where he was held without bond.
