SHOPLIFTING COMPLAINT LEADS TO DRUG CHARGES

Altheatha Ameko Harrington is being held without bond, following a shoplifting complaint that led to a series of drug charges. She allegedly tried to leave a Queen City Drive business without paying for merchandise. She also had a prescription bottle, with the label altered, along with a large quantity of a controlled dangerous substance and a large amount of cash. She faces not only theft charges, but drug counts as well. Ms. Harrington received a hearing before a District Court Commissioner.
