FORMER SENATE PRESIDENT MIKE MILLER DIES AT 78

Former Maryland Senate President Thomas “Mike” Miller, who had been battling cancer, died Friday afternoon at 78. Miller had been the longest-serving Senate President in the body’s history, serving from 1987 to 2019, and continued as a state senator through last year, until he retired in December, citing health issues.
