2021 SESSION OF GENERAL ASSEMBLY CONVENES

The 2021 session of the Maryland General Assembly convened yesterday in Annapolis, and coronavirus is not only driving a number of precautions, but also on the legislative agenda. Issues facing lawmakers include passage of the RELIEF Act of 2021, which Governor Larry Hogan announced earlier this week. Legislators must also deal with helping tenants at risk of eviction, expanding access to high-speed internet, and more protections for essential workers. The session will run through April.
