FIFTH COVID-19 RELATED DEATH IN MINERAL COUNTY

An 85-year-old Mineral County resident is the fifth COVID-19 related death in Mineral County. Health officials there have also reported an outbreak at the Dawnview Center in Fort Ashby; another employee has tested positive, and the case is considered an outbreak because of the ease of spread in long-term care facilities. And, another employee at Wilma’s Diner in Fort Ashby has tested positive; health officials say anyone who visited the restaurant on November 14th may have been exposed. There have been 23 new cases of the virus as of yesterday. The total now is at 749. The active case count was 302.
