BERKELEY SPRINGS MAN CHARGED WITH DISRUPTING SERVICES

Berkeley Springs resident Jeremiah Goodwin has been charged with disrupting a Sunday church service and was forcibly removed from the Union Chapel United Methodist Church on Valley Road there. Goodwin, according to reports, began “acting strangely, and wanting to get children in the church to sign water bottles for him.” He was removed once but returned and tried to forcibly enter the church. He is being held at the Eastern Regional Jail on $20,000 cash bond.
